Fuoco Rotto
Year: 2021
Content: Marble mosaic floor
Venue: Milan, Italy
Team: Oliviero Vitali, Rocco Vitali
Stage: Completed
The atrium is the only “room” in the apartment that is not a room.
The floor is transformed into a square, an open book made up of mosaic tiles like the words of a travel story.
From Milan to the island of Lipari.
The lava flows along the slopes of the volcano generate a carpet that welcomes guests and invites them to discover the crater, the house.
The design marks a fluid threshold that connects and separates the interior spaces.
