The new squares are an abacus of the decorative and stylistic elements of the architecture neo-liberty, with particular attention to the use of shapes, colors and materials scattered throughout the territory. These symbols are spokespersons for historical and natural elements. The pattern is reborn as flooring in the form of a stylized red and white wave decoration and the red and white checkered window frames become the new entrances to the playground. Other more graphic and geometric decorations give shape to the floors of the new promenades that connect the main squares and which therefore play a primary role within the project and territorial dynamics. Even the lighting of public spaces comes to life from the neo-liberty world of Valtellina; for this reason the organic shapes of the late nineteenth-century street lamps offer a starting point for a new contemporary, rich and identifying design.
