The project is based on a chromatic definition of the spaces, aiming to give each space an identity. All floors are made with 20×20 cm tiles, whose color and arrangement vary based on the function of the space. In the common areas, such as the living room and kitchen, the tiles are laid in a zigzag pattern that produces a dynamic visual effect, in keeping with the open and convivial nature of these spaces. In the bedrooms, hallway, and bathroom, the tiles are laid in a linear stripe pattern, parallel to the main walls, aiming to bring order to the private spaces. The bathroom floor extends beyond the confines of the room, penetrating into the adjacent common spaces. This design choice, which deliberately breaks down the rigid partitioning between the rooms, creates a visual and material continuity that strengthens the dialogue between the different areas of the home. Overall, the combined use of color, module, and installation pattern transforms the floor into a narrative and structuring element.
