The project involves the redevelopment of the lakefront of Laveno.
The goal of the proposal is to give a central role to the squares for the community and to redefine the waterfront as a natural and pedestrian “promenade on the lake”.
The project is divided into four symbiotic and interconnected interventions:

1) a garden that transforms a roundabout into a public green area on the lake.
2) an urban promenade.
3) a pedestrian square.
4) A public stairway that connects the waterfront with the lake.

The intention is to create a strong connection between the city and nature.The proposal rethinks the masterplan as an open and generous space that fits into the strategy of an ecological system for the city.
